Welcome back to Strut It. I am so thrilled that you are here with me today and I want to start with a very heartfelt thank you. Just over a week ago, my mother experienced a stroke and it was so terrifying. We are still very much in the process of supporting her in her recovery. She's doing great, but it will be a long road. And I did just a very quick

story on my Instagram and a quick post on Facebook, just letting people know that I would be taking a break to take care of my mama. And I just wanna share this positivity that I got from our community. Hundreds and hundreds of messages and comments poured in, sending my mother love and light and prayers and healing energy.

And it really got me thinking about social media as this landscape of community and connection. You know, we're here, of course, we wanna be visible. We wanna share our products and services. But at the end of the day, we always need to remember that when you hop on Instagram, for example, and you're sharing that content, we're connecting one heart to one heart, one soul to one soul.

that social media is so much more than likes and follows and vanity metrics. When leveraged correctly, it can be a beautiful platform of connection and comradery and support. And I just wanna thank all of you for sending me messages, sending my mama so much loving energy. It is making a huge difference. And one of her biggest struggles right now is speech.

remembering words is really tough. And so I wanna ask you for a favor now. I want to ask that this week, you allow your voice to be heard, that you free your voice a little bit more than maybe what you're used to doing. Maybe you push yourself a little bit out of your comfort zone because

as sort of a masculine thing in the marketing world, but it's really just a system. It's a process because if you are a creative, if you're a visionary, it's likely that oftentimes you feel a little bit scattered. You feel like you're testing, you're experimenting, you're putting yourself out there. But sometimes we kind of send, sometimes we just leak too much of our energy and if we don't have it,

grounded in a simple system or strategy, it really won't be as effective for our business or our brand. And to me, a funnel is just simply a series of steps, a clear customer journey, so you can feel really confident that you understand how all of these pieces of your marketing.

It's really the best feeling ever when the content that you produce on social media actually gets your ideal client prospects to reach out and talk to you. This has happened to me multiple times in the past week, and I continue to be sort of in awe of how remarkable it is when it actually works. Yesterday, I did an Instagram breakthrough session.

with a lovely, beautiful woman. And when we got on the call, she teared up because she was so moved by how much value she had gotten from listening to my podcast, how much it had helped her to find clarity. And it helped her to just feel less overwhelmed in this kind of like oversaturated information world where we were consuming so much from all these different sources. And she said, Elizabeth.

You helped me to understand social media in the most simple way possible, which really feels like a miracle. And it was just such wonderful feedback, and it really, it just reminded me that we always have to be in it for the long game too. I've been producing this podcast for years, and it didn't always drive leads to my business, but I didn't give up. I kept refining, I kept.

posting, I kept showing up, and all of these systems are really working beautifully for me because I have had so much repetition and practice. And when this happens to you and your content that you put out there actually results in the client conversation or a sale or whatever it is that your goal is on your socials, it just makes you feel so good. And I wanna just highlight something really quick, which is emphasizing this whole ideal clients reach out and talk to you. Remember that clients come from conversations. Clients come from conversations. So every time I'm showing up, recording a podcast, posting on my socials, it's not a monologue. I'm always inviting conversation. I'm always...

And you know, I'm always inviting you to take a next step or comment or reply or take a certain action step with me because that's how people are gonna actually get results. And you know this, I know this, if you go binge a bunch of podcasts but you don't actually implement anything you hear, is it actually helping you? Maybe a little bit with like mindset and energetics but you've gotta start to take.

So this phenomenon of your content converts into clients is called a funnel in the marketing world. Okay, and so if you're kind of like, okay, what the heck is a funnel? I want you to close your eyes if you're not driving and imagine an actual funnel, like a funnel you would have in your kitchen. And so it's wide at the top, and then as it goes down, it narrows at the bottom. So,

In marketing, what you can think about is there's a top of funnel, which is on Instagram, for example, the top funnel is you're trying to attract lots of followers and new audience members, right? And then narrow, narrow, narrow down at the bottom is where you're going to call in your most committed soulmate clients. Those are the people who are actually going to pay you for your expertise, your products and services.

So today I'm gonna break down my exact multi six figure sales funnel. I use this exact same sales funnel in both of my brands, my dance studio business and my personal coaching brand. I love it, it's fun, it's crystal clear and it's a path that me and my team can easily follow and implement and rinse and repeat. So at the top of my funnel, I actually have two different

approaches for the top of my funnel. I have my Instagram account and this podcast, this podcast is a top of funnel. Now they're very different in their strategies and approaches. So my Instagram account of course is more short form content, really small bite-sized pieces of information. It's free to follow me, it's entertaining, it's packed with valuable hints and tips, plus I provide

the exact content that I know will speak directly to my most dreamy soulmate prospects. The second piece that is at the top of my funnel is my podcast. And again, it's free to listen and consume, but it requires a little bit more time investment from my audience, right? And I also provide more detail and I can go much more in depth and give

a ton of value in the content I record in every episode. And obviously a podcast is more of a long form piece of content. So those are my two top of funnel approaches. Quick note, if you are just starting out and you're like, okay, what's a funnel? I need to create one for my business. I'm not really sure. Just pick one top of funnel to start. Don't try to spread yourself too thin. So tune into yourself what feels

Moving down the funnel from my Instagram and my podcast, I lead people into a lead magnet. Now a lead magnet is, it can be a free guide, it can be a checklist, an audio, a video. There's so many different ideas for lead magnets and maybe I'll do another episode on lead magnets, send me a DM and let me know if you want me to do that. But essentially for me, it's a free guide.

that is on my website, it's on my socials, it's in this podcast, it's in the show notes that visitors can get in exchange for sharing their email address with me. Because this is really crucial. I want, my goal is to talk to them and connect with them, yes, on social media, but then I wanna take it further and take them off social media.

So now they're in my audience and not Instagram's audience because you know this, you don't own your followers, your account can get hacked, it can be taken down. So you really do want to invest in platforms that you own, like your website, your blog, your email list, all of those things that are yours that no one can take away from you, right? And so a lead magnet is how I get people to opt into my list.

Now, I have two different lead magnets that I use on the reg with both my companies. One for my dance studio business is a free first dance checklist. Now, in my wedding dance studio, our ideal client prospects are engaged couples who are getting married in the next 12 months. They're totally nervous about their first dance and they wanna look confident. They wanna look their best in the spotlight on the wedding dance floor.

So I created this lead magnet, which is the free first dance checklist. And in this checklist, I tell them exactly what they need to do to prep for their dance lessons, how they can leverage and utilize their dance lessons, and often forgotten day of tips. So things like, okay, you know, do I need to bring shoes to my lessons? How do I pick a song? What do I tell my vendors? All of the questions that these people have is in this checklist. So it's extremely valuable. That...

that particular lead magnet has been downloaded more than 4,000 times. So that's how you know you have a fire lead magnet is if you start to promote it and people are just gobbling it up, you know that you've really struck a chord with your audience. Now in my personal brand coaching business, I have a monetize your IG guide, which has also just been incredibly.

People love it. They send me messages and they're like, this is so helpful, it's finally making sense to me how I use Instagram in my organic marketing strategy. So in this guide, I break down seven simple and proven ways to finally make money on Instagram and I go through seven exact steps that I take to monetize my content. Essentially, how do I create content that will convert into paying clients?

That is a goal of my ideal client. So I created a little freebie to help them in that first step of doing that.

So moving down the funnel, they've opted into our email list and now I can deepen our conversations through my email marketing and offer more value, right? And in email, it's such a beautiful place where you can really nurture your audience, you can connect with them on a weekly basis, you can build wait lists for your programs, it is just remarkable.

If you don't have an email list, this is your sign to consider starting one. It is a total game changer.

So when people opt into my email list, they go into an automated welcoming sequence, which is very strategic. And this is the kind of work that I do with my private clients where we can, I can really help you to develop an email series that is going to convert eventually to sales, but you don't invite them into a sale right away. There's a whole process of connecting with them, giving them some value.

and then eventually, of course, inviting them into your offers.

The other thing I like about emails is that you can gain valuable metrics on who's opening your emails. You can see who opens them, which emails are getting responses, and you can really test out your subject lines in your emails. And I think of subject lines a lot like hooks on Instagram. It's all about like getting really creative as to how do I position the subject line so people are actually going to open my email.

So most, the average open rate for business emails, I wanna say is around 15 to 20%. And for both of my brands, we average over 50% for our open rates because we have this nailed down.

Moving down the funnel, they're on my email list, and then that's when I can start to invite them into our paid offers in my coaching program. Those are master classes. Those could be a single 90-minute private social media strategy session with me. And of course, in my coaching brand, it's inviting them into my group program, Hot Reels, my 12-month Instagram content lab if they're wanting to learn how to create the best sort of content in a community feel.

And then I have my higher level private mentorship containers. And so you can see how as the funnel goes down, so you can think about this as my master classes and single sessions are kind of low risk and low commitment. Their entry level offers that allow my ideal clients to kind of try me on. Will they continue to build trust in my expertise? And then as they do that, they can funnel into my next step, which is my group mentorship

which is Hot Reels, which is by the way, totally popping right now. Our Facebook is going off every day with people putting their content in there, I'm giving them feedback, I'm sharing trending audios and hooks every week. And what I love most about what's happening in that group right now is the camaraderie that you're commenting on each other's posts, you're cheering each other on, and that is one of my favorite parts about a group mentorship program.

Moving down through my funnel, next is my high touch intimate invite only private mentorship containers. Of course, private mentorship is a higher risk, but higher reward. Higher risk meaning it's more of an investment, but higher reward offers that compel my most committed and ideal client prospects to benefit from the highest level of my expertise and support for their results. So in my private mentorship,

It's very high touch. It's very done with you. It's where as you are going through this and you're implementing all of this work in your day-to-day business, I am right next to your side. You can ask me questions. We devise strategies. We make sure that your content system feels super aligned for you and your energetics. So it just goes a little bit deeper.

So that is the funnel for my coaching brand with my dance studio brand, it's the same thing.

Instagram, we also use Google, we use The Knot. I have multiple different sources up at the top. Then I invite them in with a lead magnet. We have an whole email campaign. And then in that email campaign, I'm inviting them into our wedding dance packages. The cool part about having a list also is if, let's say you wanna do a Black Friday sale, or you wanna do a holiday sale, or whatever it is, you can plug right into your hottest prospects versus posting on socials about it.

which I always say just post everywhere about it, but your email list is like your biggest fans, which I think is super fun.

beautifully to deliver me another Instagram breakthrough call this week with a human who had moved through several layers of my funnel. They found me on Instagram, they listened to my podcast, they applied for a call with me. So like I said, when your funnel starts to work, it is so exciting because again, it's a rinse and repeat system that you can just continue to refine as you go because you're not going to know the best funnel.

first start your business. It's just impossible. You have to kind of take it one step at a time. And that's what I love doing with my clients is hopefully short cutting that learning curve. So within, you know, six to 12 months of working together, you feel like, oh my goodness, I have this money making funnel that is the most fun to create and it actually works and it actually converts. It does take time, it takes energy, but to me, it's that mix of strategy
